Audi India has launched the Q5 facelift SUV in India. It is available in two variants - Premium Plus and Technology at a starting price tag of ₹ 58.93 lakh and ₹ 63.77 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. SUV is coming back to India after 3 years since the pre-facelift model was discontinued in April 2020. This is company's ninth launch in the financial year.
Audi has already received hundred units of booking and deliveries are expected to start.
Exterior
The 2021 Q5 facelift gets a bit sharper look, redesigned bumpers, larger single-frame grille with chrome borders, foglamp housings, LED highlights and taillights. It also gets 19-inch star style alloy wheels.
Interior
On the inside, it gets an updated cabin with 10.1-inch touchscreen with third generation Modular Infotainment Platform or MIB 3 equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also offers wireless phone charger, updated steering wheel, upholstery in leather, Audi Park Assist, front parking sensors, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, and the Bang and Olufsen music system.
Engine
Under the hood, there is 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine which is mated to 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission that produces 249 bhp of power and 370 Nm of peak torque. It takes 6.3 seconds, hit a top speed of up to 237 kmph and returns a mileage of 17.01 kmpl.
Competition
It will compete against the likes of Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Jaguar F-Pace, BMW X3, Lexus NX300h and Volvo XC60.
