20,000 fine for BS-III & BS-IV vehicles

Delhi Governmemt has decided to implement the anti-pollution curbs to restrict the use of polluting vehicles in the city. Therefore, a fine of Rs 20,000 will be attracted for violating its order.

Due to high alert of pollution Delhi-NCR, the government banned the use of all BS-II and BS-IV vehicles as well as the entry of diesel trucks, except for those carrying essential commodities.

Public transport services will be increased for travellers. Also, it will hire up to 1,000 private CNG contract carriage buses via DTC for 60 days.

This may extend up to 90 days.
